A group shot

Shepherd's Farm PEI

This is Shepherd's Farm on PEI We come here about twice a year and do farm work and visit with the Cousins who live here and run a ministry with Navigators. This time we went with our COllege and Career group and did absolutely nothing, except eat and sit around. Ok, we did more than that....we also went for a long walk in the morning, had a snowball fight and then went on a hay ride in the night time!

a horse named Duchess and myself

"Please don't eat us!!!"

This one was named midnight and was VERY cute and smelly.

Lots of Farm Animals

Like these sheep who were all having babies

and playing some cards. This is slamwich (keltie brings a whole new meaning to "being competitive." Funny, I didn't even play her in cards and she still pulled me headfirst of the top bunk..... I don't know if I will survive another game of that!

Lots of time in the car

and waiting for Dave to get deodarant for himself and gummies for us in Amherst.

WE'RE READY FOR PEI WEEKEND!

With lots of gluten free snacks which keltie's leg enjoyed...

It seems as if Keltie is contemplating if she is ready...

and joanna and her pet lamb are ready!

and sarah

It appears Sheilagh is ready

Are you ready for another adventure?

My new friend Frank

Frank is my new friend at Second Cup. He is about 80 something and comes in every day, sometimes twice a day to get a drink. He has a very small stomach and only gets half a drink everytime because that is all that will fit. Frank loves music. Our common bond is because we both played the trumpet...well he still does alot and my mom sold mine (not that I would play it if I still had it.) Frank is British and has an accent. He has played the trumpet his whole life in different orchestras, as a professor and as a performer. Last week he brought me in one of his cd's to listen to with request that if I didn't listen to it within 24 hours I would turn into a pumpkin. SO I listened to it on the way home and loved it. He says it is the kind of trumpet playing that you have with a glass of wine and a good book. He also told me I shouldn't listen to it in the car because I might fall asleep. Tonight he promised me another one of his cd's with jazz recordings which I look forward to. This is a really random story of which I have no picture to show, and If I was really smart in the blooger world I might me able to post one of his songs, but I am not so the story must suffice!

Daniel's Christmas present to a pigeon

This pigeon was hurt in our backyard over Christmas. Daniel decided to give it a home and make sure that it lived...it did and now it is back outside wishing it could still be eating the grilled cheese sandwhiches Daniel was feeding it.

Honestly, it was a fun party

MERRY CHRISTMAS
this was our tree this year...our family can't get over the fact that you don't have to put every ornament that we've collected over the years on the tree! I wanted to make strings of popcorn for the tree, but ran out of time, so that explains the one string of popcorn at the top!
